Ghajini (2008): Aamir Khan remade the south blockbuster Ghajini starring Suriya in the lead. The film revolves around a man who has short term memory loss and is trying to find out and take revenge from the killers of his girlfriend.

Salman Khan brought the south blockbuster Mahesh Babu's Pokiri (2006) for the Hindi audiences. The film revolves around a police officer who goes undercover to finish the local mafia.

Singham (2011): Ajay Devgn make a Bollywood remake of the south blockbuster Singam (2010) starring Suriya. The film revolves around the a police officer who has a non-nonsense attitude towards life. A local don turned politician treats the police as his personal servant. Now it's up to the cop to show the politician as to what the police force can do when they take matters in their hands.

Rowdy Rathore (2012): Akshay Kumar's remake of Ravi Teja's south blockbuster Vikramarkudu (2006) was loved by the masses. The film revolves around a strict police office who gets killed while trying to expose a local goon. Somehow a lookalike of the same police officer takes his place in the police force, and now it's up to him to finish the task what the original police officer started.
